Personal Odyssey

50 pts.

We are reading The Odyssey.  In the end, Odysseus reaches Ithaca, but not before enduring struggle and loss.  Odysseus was flawed (as are we all) but ultimately prevailed.  Life is an odyssey – an extended journey.  We are the main character, the hero, in our own journey.  Write an account of your own odyssey alluding to Homer’s Odyssey to tell your tale.  This will be a mixture of reflection and narrative, not a formal essay.  We will start working on this together as we read.  This is non-fiction.
